Fun & Friendly Event

The aim of dressage at Field View is to give riders the opportunity to ride through dressage tests in front of a judge in a fun & friendly environment. There’s also the chance to ride the Dressage in Pairs with a friend. During the weeks before the dressage events we work through the movements in the upcoming dressage tests during riding lessons. This allows riders to become comfortable & familiar with riding the different movements before the event.

The judge scores each movement in the test out of 10 & gives feedback on how you rode different movements as well as on your riding generally. These scores highlight both your strengths and areas which you could improve on. If you work on these highlighted areas in your lessons you will hopefully see that the judge’s feedback changes and your scores improve.
